Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an NDT Technician to join a prominent aerospace manufacturing team.
Position Overview:
As a key member of a focused team, you will conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft materials, including both Composite and Metallic components, adhering to engineering specifications with significant independence.
Reporting Structure:
You will report to the NDT Group Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing on various aircraft materials and components across multiple business sectors.
- Ensure compliance with in-house technical standards, including:
- Documentation control
- Continuation training for operational areas
- Operational Surveillance
- Preparation and supply of NDT reports
- Formulation and review of instructions
- Provide line-side support to operations.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Conduct performance evaluations on in-house NDT instrumentation.
- Maintain personal certifications in accordance with applicable NDT standards.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
- EN4179 (or equivalent) Level 2 certification in Eddy Currents and Ultrasonic testing.
- Experience with testing and inspection methodologies for Composite and Metallic materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and adaptability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and processes.
