A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Skilled Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience to become part of a reputable automotive dealership.

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles' mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute routine maintenance, service inspections, and repairs following manufacturer specifications. Conduct diagnostic assessments on engines, transmissions, brakes, air conditioning, security systems, fuel systems, and more. Engage directly with clients to identify and comprehend issues related to vehicle performance while providing technical guidance. Carry out road tests on vehicles post-repair or service and accompany clients to demonstrate concerns or faults. Perform repair and service tasks on engine units, drivetrains, suspension systems, brakes, air conditioning units, electrical systems, emissions systems, and interior components. Conduct electronic vehicle health assessments.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, or in a comparable position. Experience within a dealership environment. NVQ Level 2 / 3 qualification or equivalent. Technical expertise in various vehicle makes and models. Proficient in computer usage and quick to adapt to new systems. Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am - 12:30pm
