Position Overview
We are currently seeking rated H175 pilots to join our operations.
Limited positions are available.
CHC Helicopters is in search of qualified pilots to enhance our offshore operations.
We provide a competitive starting salary based on experience and are open to sponsoring the right candidate who may not have the current right to work in the UK, provided they hold a UK CAA license.
While our primary focus is on H175 pilots, we are also open to S92 type-rated candidates.

Key Duties
- Operate assigned aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to CHC operational standards and regulations.
- Assist the aircraft commander in ensuring safe flight operations.
- Prioritize safety and customer service in all actions, both in-flight and on the ground.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, representing CHC positively.
- Stay informed about operational conditions, including weather, NOTAMs, and offshore facility status.
- Keep current with all operational and safety protocols.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by Flight Operations Management.
- Primary base will be Aberdeen (S92 & H175), with potential secondments to other locations.
- Available rosters include 7/7 or 12/9 schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- Valid UK ATPL (H) or CPL(H) with ATPL (H) theoretical exams.
- Valid Multi-Engine Instrument rating (H) with Performance Based Navigation (PBN).
- Valid UK Class 1 Medical certificate.
- Minimum English Proficiency Level 4, with levels 5 or 6 preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Type rating on S92, EC175, and AW139.
- Previous experience in offshore oil and gas operations.
- At least 500 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
- Completion of a Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course (H).
Desired Attributes
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organized and capable of managing diverse workloads.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Proficient in IT to utilize CHC systems for flight planning and scheduling.
- Residing or willing to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the base is advantageous.
