About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Design and Technology teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Design and Technology teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring they receive a comprehensive education in Design and Technology.
  • Developing and implementing the Design and Technology curriculum, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Leading and coaching extracurricular Design and Technology activities, fostering a love of learning and creativity in our students.
  • Supporting students in their academic and personal development, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Design and Technology related degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school setting, preferably with a focus on Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
