About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Smart Meter Engineer to join our team at Morrison Data Services. As a key member of our metering services team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining smart meters in domestic properties, ensuring excellent customer service and timely completion of jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain smart meters in domestic properties
  • Respond to emergency and maintenance jobs
  • Complete safe installation and removal of smart meters (SMETS2)
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of jobs

  • A competitive basic salary of £39,975 (£36,900 outside London)
  • A realistic OTE of £48,000 per annum

Requirements
  • Hold current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualification or an equivalent aligned qualification (within 6 months of expiry)
  • Have previous MOCOPA experience to multi-rate level (3-phase is beneficial)
  • Ideally have been registered on the EUSR portal (not essential)
  • Hold a current full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Have previous practical experience in a dual fuel role, minimum of 6 months on-the-job experience
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts
  • Have experience of operating mobile IT hardware
