About the Role

The Franchise Business Development Manager is a critical position within Immersive Gamebox, responsible for driving the company's expansion plans. This role will oversee the recruitment process, lead contract negotiations, and manage and develop each franchisee group as they join and grow within the franchise system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network and engage with new potential and existing multi-unit franchisees to supplement the recruitment process and complete signing of multi-unit development agreements.
  • Evaluate new franchisees, their business proposals, and growth plans to gain a robust understanding of their development, ongoing operations, and financial capabilities.
  • Manage and complete Heads of Terms discussions, agreements, and signings.
  • Negotiate franchise development agreements through to completion and signing.
  • Lead newly recruited franchisees through the onboarding process, providing support to reach self-sufficiency as quickly as possible.
  • Ensure franchisees create robust annual business and operating plans, conduct routine business reviews, and monitor performance against plans.
  • Monitor franchisee venue-level KPIs, create efficient processes, and drive operational performance.
  • Adapt and create franchising materials to ensure brand initiatives and marketing campaigns are implemented and executed to a high standard.
  • Ensure franchisees meet their development obligations, support site selection and approval processes, and identify and manage contractual issues.
  • Own communication between Immersive Gamebox and franchisees, both at an individual level and through periodic franchisee community-wide communication.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role, achieving or overachieving targets for signed new business.
  • Experience in closing deals and working with medium to large-sized, multi-unit franchisee groups across international markets.
  • Experience negotiating development agreements within international markets, working closely with lawyers and local regulations.
  • Proven track record successfully managing the on-going operation and development of franchise networks within the leisure or hospitality sectors.
  • Experience analyzing operational performance and achieving results through influence and coaching.
