Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) team as a Care Assistant in Mental Health. The successful candidate will work with older adults, providing responsive, person-centered, and needs-led mental health assessments and brief interventions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent frontline assessment skills, a registered Mental Health Nursing qualification, and experience working with older adults. They will be a team player, demonstrating sensitivity, tact, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Duties of the JobAs a Care Assistant in Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing telephone triage, video, and face-to-face assessments to service users and their carers across BaNES. You will work alongside other specialist professionals, including GPs and partnership agencies, to deliver high-quality care and support.
