Medical Science Liaison Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the UK & Ireland Dermatology department. This is a maternity cover position for 6 months, initially based from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scientific Leadership: Contribute to scientific conferences, medical meetings, and advisory boards, leveraging strong functional expertise to support tactical execution of key medical strategies.
  2. Medical Insights: Gather medical insights and support research/data generation initiatives, utilizing scientific expertise to prepare and deliver medical and scientific presentations.
  3. KOL Management: Develop and manage Key Opinion Leaders, including identification, engagement, and support.
  4. Clinical Trials: Maximize site performance and support for clinical trials and non-interventional studies through engagement with investigators as appropriate.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Frequently communicate with field level counterparts from sales and market access, actively participating in team calls and meetings.
  6. Administrative Duties: Provide scientific updates to peers and ensure completion of administrative and planning duties in line with guidance.
Requirements:
  1. A high level of scientific education at MSc/PhD level is desirable.
  2. MSL experience within industry is preferred.
  3. Disease area knowledge, specifically dermatology/psoriasis, is preferred.
  4. Ability to clearly articulate complex scientific and clinical data in 1:1 and group settings.
  5. Demonstrate business acumen and have an in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare arena.

This role will relocate from Slough to Windlesham, Surrey in 2025. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
