Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. As a Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing an existing client base, as well as bringing on new profitable clients in the South East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Covering the South East region, managing and developing an existing client base and bringing on new profitable clients.
  • Selling fluid system components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc.
  • New business development and account management.
  • Liaising with various engineering departments.

Requirements

  • Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Business Development Engineer / Business Development Manager.
  • A mechanical engineering sales background with full product training being provided.
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree beneficial.
  • Experience selling fluid power / fluid systems, components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc. would be advantageous.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving License and willingness to cover the South East - ideally be based in West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire or Kent.
