Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Behaviour Mentor role will be full-time and long-term, with the potential to become permanent.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work in the SEN Department and be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Working alongside the SEN Lead to create plans for pupils' work programmes
  • Assisting class teachers during lessons
  • Occasionally covering classes for short periods when the teacher needs to leave the room

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of pupils and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this Behaviour Mentor role, you will need:

  • A UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience as a Behaviour Mentor in UK schools or working knowledge of supporting children/young people
  • A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
  • The right to work in the UK
