About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Utilities Operations Engineer to join our team at AWE. As a key member of our Utilities Operations team, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and management of our water and wastewater networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing leadership and direction to plant works teams
  • Undertaking the safe operation, maintenance, and management of plant under your control
  • Monitoring and reacting to alarms for the plant and systems under your control
  • Expediting notification of plant/network failures to relevant stakeholders
  • Undertaking the role of Authorized Person within boundaries of appointment
  • Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality
Requirements
  • Technician Apprenticeship or ONC with suitable additional experience
  • Engineering capability across relevant networks, comprising a range of infrastructure facilities and associated plant and equipment
  • Experience of working with Water/Waste Water would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience in utility/building service delivery over a large portfolio of buildings
