About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to join our team in Bridgwater, working term-time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with agreed recipes and methods, as well as maintaining food safety records and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food for chilled and hot transportation
  • Decant and serve food where required
  • Refill and replace consumables
Requirements
  • Happy to undertake a DBS criminal record check prior to starting work
  • Experience of working in a catering environment and within a team
  • Good communication skills and literacy/numeracy skills
  • Experience of cooking/food preparation for large numbers
  • Willingness to gain recognised catering qualification
  • Flexibility to undertake holiday cleans when required
