Chief Marketing & Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Chief Marketing & Communications Officer to lead our marketing and communications efforts for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement impactful marketing and communication strategies to enhance the brand's visibility and engagement with diverse audiences.
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of marketing, public relations, communications, and ceremonial events related to the Glasgow Games.
  • Recruit and manage a high-performing team across marketing communications and ceremonies functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and delivery of the Games.

About You:

  • Proven experience in senior marketing and communications roles within major events or similar environments.
  • Strong background in building and managing high-profile brands.
  • Direct experience in successfully procuring and managing contracts with suppliers.
  • Ability to innovate, drive engagement, and think strategically.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
