Role: Vehicle Damage AssessorWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our dynamic team in Leeds. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing vehicle damage, determining repair costs, and ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to accurately assess the extent of the damage.
- Prepare detailed estimates outlining repair costs, timeframes, and prescribed repair methods.
- Collaborate effectively with insurance companies to obtain authorization for repairs based on your assessments.
- Communicate clearly with customers, engineers, and technicians regarding repair methodologies and progress updates.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, manufacturer guidelines, and evolving repair technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Repair, or ATA certification.
- A solid background in a bodyshop environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- A full UK driving license.
