Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct accurate building estimates for a range of projects within the portfolio, utilizing expertise in construction and facilities management.
  2. Prepare and compile proposal submissions, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.
  3. Obtain specialist subcontractor costs, leveraging industry connections and knowledge.
  4. Attend site visits as required across the UK, participating in the bid process and providing valuable insights.
  5. Update Pipeline Reporting System and contribute to the generation of BD Management information reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  6. Progress submitted tenders and assist in formulation of tender returns, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  7. Measure performance versus contracted requirements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  8. Identify a broad range of cost-saving initiatives in line with contractual obligations, driving business growth and efficiency.
  9. Interact with client organizations as required, providing meaningful reports and proactive data and information, fostering strong relationships.
Requirements:
  1. Educated to HNC/HND standard (or equivalent), with a strong foundation in construction and facilities management.
  2. Ideal experience in Data Centre projects, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Experience working in an Estimating role within the Construction/Facilities Management industry, with a deep understanding of industry practices.
  4. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Relevant experience of estimating within a main contractor, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
  6. Proficient IT Skills to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  7. Must have a driving license to travel to sites, with a valid UK driving license.
