Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Operator to join our team at Ignition Driver Recruitment. This role involves operating heavy goods vehicles for a prominent logistics and parcel distribution organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving a Class 1 vehicle efficiently and safely.
  • Participating in a two-person crew for trunking operations.
  • Transporting goods to various locations as required.
  • Completing necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Conducting standard vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Working Hours

This position primarily involves night shifts, typically spanning 5 to 6 nights per week.

Requirements
  • A valid HGV Class 1 driving license.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience operating a Class 1 vehicle.
  • In-date Tacho Digi Card and DCPC Card.
  • Ability to have up to 6 points on your driving license, excluding specific endorsements.
  • Willingness to attend a site for Tacho digi card download, ensuring 12 months of data is available.
