Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SEN Class Teacher to join our team. As a SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the complex needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the national curriculum and the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Report on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaise with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Have a strong basic education to degree level.
- Previous successful teaching experience.
- Some previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting.
- Experience of behavior management and techniques.
- Committed to professional development and willing to learn.
- Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.
