About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team at Thales Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME). This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-performing engineering teams and drive the delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-discipline engineering teams to generate innovative solutions that meet customer needs
  • Develop and implement engineering delivery strategies to ensure project success
  • Manage interfaces with programme directors, programme managers, and engineering delivery leads to ensure seamless delivery
  • Work with programme managers to define project organisation and work breakdown structures
  • Define engineering team work packages, including resource allocation, budgets, risks, and timelines
  • Plan and prioritise activities to deliver solutions on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Manage and report on engineering efficiency and identify opportunities for re-use
  • Act as people manager for the engineering team and provide feedback for performance reviews
Requirements
  • Strong background in engineering with experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent customer focus, communication skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of naval products is beneficial
  • Ability to demonstrate Thales Leadership Behavioural Model competencies
