Role Overview: Become a vital member of our client’s team at the Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU), where you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective healthcare services. The RRU is committed to enhancing operational effectiveness through dedicated support and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment scheduling and correspondence with patients, utilizing our medical system and Outlook. Familiarity with these tools is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
- Oversee the inventory of podiatry insoles, employing spreadsheets and our medical system for tracking.
- Prepare and send non-attendance notifications to patients, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate patient participation in various courses, which includes sending joining instructions and scheduling appointments.
- Handle incoming calls to address appointment inquiries, using our medical system to review and adjust appointments as necessary.
- Schedule MRI scans for patients, requiring proficiency in our medical system and Outlook.
- Maintain the appointment data capture system, which involves inputting data into a user-friendly program similar to Excel.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated administrative expertise with a background in office management.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in a healthcare or defense setting.
- Understanding of electronic procurement and financial documentation processes.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with additional allowances.
Work Schedule: Standard office hours, Monday to Friday.
Duration: Possibility of extension based on performance.
