Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including purchases and sales.
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Daily Retail Reconciliations: Reconcile daily retail transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Processing of Sales Orders: Process sales orders, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Cash Allocations: Allocate cash receipts to the correct customer accounts.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and process stock movements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting.
