About the Role

African Conservation Experience is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservation Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a values-led organization that is dedicated to supporting genuine wildlife conservation work through organizing conservation travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to travelers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Work closely with the sales team to increase sales and awareness of the ACE brand, promoting conservation travel experiences to a global audience.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to engage with customers and promote ACE's conservation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the team to track and respond to customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and energetic communication.
  • Contribute to the development of new content and marketing materials, including social media, blogs, and website content.
  • Support the planning and execution of conservation projects, including research and outreach activities.
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in the travel industry, conservation, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) and website content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to supporting genuine conservation efforts.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £26,500 to £30,500, depending on experience.
  • Membership of our profit share scheme in the second full financial year of employment.
  • 25 days of leave per year, plus UK public holidays.
