Senior Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (SPGTA) - Electronic Support

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Postgraduate Teaching Assistants to provide electronic support in our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and training of postgraduate teaching assistants in electronic support
  • Contribute to the improvement of the postgraduate teaching assistant experience in electronic support
  • Help form a community of practice amongst departmental postgraduate teaching assistants to promote best practice in electronic support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least two years of experience as a postgraduate teaching assistant in electronic support in our department
  • Experience with multiple aspects of electronic support and teaching
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in electronic support and teaching
  • Able to demonstrate an evidence-based and reflective approach to supporting electronic support and teaching

Application Requirements

  • A CV highlighting your experience in electronic support and teaching
  • A personal statement (max 500 words) expanding on your knowledge, approach, and reflections in supporting electronic support and teaching in higher education
  • A letter of support from an activity lead in the department you have assisted as a postgraduate teaching assistant
