mbf is collaborating with a reputable, fully Independent Financial Planning firm to find a skilled Financial Consultant. Our client has a long-standing history of excellence, offering comprehensive financial solutions to clients in various regions.

They are currently looking to bring on board a Financial Consultant to inherit a significant portfolio of clients. The Managing Director possesses a vast client base and intends to transfer a considerable portion of these clients, allowing them to concentrate on expanding the business. The client portfolio you will be taking over is approximately £30M AUM. This role's primary objective is to deliver outstanding service, ensuring high client retention while also being expected to organically grow new business from existing clients and their professional contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive financial guidance tailored to the distinct needs and aspirations of each client.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, gaining their trust and confidence.
  • Work closely with in-house financial experts to utilize their knowledge and provide integrated solutions.
  • Remain informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices to guarantee the highest level of service and compliance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a financial consultant, ideally in an independent role.
  • A proven history of success in cultivating and managing client relationships.
  • Robust understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and retirement planning.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
