Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Technical Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in the analysis of results from fire resistance testing and the production of product assessments and classification reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough analysis of fire resistance testing results to produce accurate and comprehensive product assessments and classification reports.
  2. Develop and maintain knowledge of European and International Standards and Specifications relating to fire safety, and in specialist product areas.
  3. Collaborate with clients and testing departments to plan and execute test programmes.
  4. Continuously improve technical and decision-making skills through training and professional development.
  5. Work closely with the team to increase knowledge of role and standards, and to improve the service provided by the company.
Requirements
  1. Educated to degree standard, in a science or engineering subject.
  2. Analytical and inquisitive in nature, with strong problem-solving skills.
  3. Keen interest in all aspects of fire safety.
  4. Methodical and highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Able to make informed decisions and confident to stand by/justify these decisions.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  7. Flexibility to travel to other sites/customer locations when necessary.
  8. Ideally a Full UK Driving Licence.
  9. UK Right To Work, with no restrictions.
