E-Commerce and Website Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated E-commerce and Website Manager to oversee online sales and marketing strategies for our client in Lincoln. This role will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience through our e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve business goals.
  • Manage and optimize the e-commerce platforms, including website, Shopify, and other third-party marketplaces.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the e-commerce industry.
  • Create and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to online platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce initiatives with other business functions.
  • Monitor website analytics and key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize website visibility on search engines.
  • Strong knowledge and experience using Shopify.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent copywriting skills for creating compelling product descriptions and promotional content.
  • Experience in B2B e-commerce is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and platforms used in e-commerce operations.
  • Project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor e-commerce projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads or other online advertising platforms.
