Key Responsibilities- Encourage individuals to participate in their chosen activities or follow their interests, assisting them in the community.
- Coordinate scheduled activities, using personalized rotas and liaising with others to ensure facilitated activities and appointments are attended.
- Support, prompt, and assist individuals with their personal care, promoting independence wherever possible.
- Encourage individuals to utilize or develop proactive strategies to maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date, including incident forms, daily notes, and finance records.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, as you will be supporting individuals who use various methods of communication.
- Knowledge, experience, or desire to support individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour is essential.
- Good basic comprehension of the English language, including basic literacy and numerical skills (GCSE level or equivalent).
- Ongoing commitment to personal development and training.
