Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the production and technical/quality departments of a leading supplier to the food and drink industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Production and Technical/Quality departments, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise production processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Supply Chain and Sales, to align production with business goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Set clear objectives and performance goals for team members, providing regular feedback and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the food and drink sector.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
