We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team at Viqu Limited. As a key member of our Sys Ops team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing both applications and their underlying cloud infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Diagnose and address intricate infrastructure problems across multi-server setups and high-availability systems
  • Set up and configure infrastructure according to directives from the infrastructure lead
  • Update and sustain current infrastructure
  • Oversee the entire process of user credential management
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure, and assist with releases
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve advanced support issues

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience with AWS
  • Experienced with Linux administration
  • Understanding of ITIL Foundation concepts
  • Previous roles involving customer support
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow
  • Proficient in using configuration management tools and infrastructure as code, including Ansible and CloudFormation
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux environments in a production setting
  • Familiarity with containerisation platforms, such as Docker
  • Skills in network management for Security Groups, VPNs, and Direct Connect configuration
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go is a plus
