Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily progress of internal works at our East London site. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily progress of internal works and monitor progress of activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and address any issues that may arise on the site.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Assist senior management with coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
  • Ensure that all activities align with the project timeline.
  • Carry out snagging inspection and report to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Assist senior management with preparing daily or weekly reports on-site activities, progress, and issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years site experience as site manager/block manager.
  • Enthusiastic approach to construction and gaining personal experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • SMSTS, CSCS.
