Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Services Associate to join our team at The Wycliffe Medical Practice. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient care and support to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • GCSE English (C or above) and at least three others
  • Experience of working with the general public
  • Experience of administrative duties
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong IT skills (generic)
  • Clear, polite telephone manner
  • Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
  • Effective time management (planning and organising)
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable Qualifications
  • AMSPAR qualification
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Educated to A-level/equivalent or higher, with relevant experience
  • Experience of working in general practice
  • SystmOne user skills
Working Arrangements
  • Part-time, Fixed term contract
  • 30 hours per week
