About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health policy and the ability to think strategically. They will also have excellent clinical skills and be able to manage change effectively.

The post holder will work closely with our Multi-disciplinary teams and liaise with the Home Treatment Clinical Leads to maintain ongoing communication with the Inpatient, Crisis Team, Liaison Team and Community Services.

They will also supervise and manage two SAS doctors within the team and relate to the leadership and management structures of the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Service Delivery Unit.

  • Able to meet the travel requirements of the post
  • Provision of high-quality mental health services as a trainee or Consultant
  • Knowledge about mental health policy with ability to think strategically and manage change
