About the Role:

National Services Scotland is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in the National Services Directorate. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing data analysis and audit support activities for a portfolio of national networks and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality data, analytical, and support services to national managed clinical and diagnostic networks, specialist services, and screening programmes.
  • Work closely with the Information Management Service (IMS) Management Team to identify and deliver information management requirements.
  • Provide data analysis and audit support to ensure the effective management of national specialist services, screening programmes, and managed networks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of analytical reporting tools such as Business Objects (BOXI) and visualisation software such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard office packages, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working Arrangements:

Delta House, Glasgow or Gyle Square Edinburgh

Hybrid working arrangement

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
