A leading construction company, BLHP Group Ltd, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic Commercial team. With multiple regional offices across the UK, the company has a strong presence in the industry and is known for its successful projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Commercial team lead by a Commercial Director and Managing Quantity Surveyors, and will work closely with Assistant and Trainee Quantity Surveyors to deliver high-quality projects. The role will involve costing for projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, leisure, and historic restorations.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and high-value projects, and will be part of a close-knit team that offers a generous package and fast-tracked career progression. The company is committed to developing its employees and offers a long-term path to moving into a Senior role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Commercial team in delivering projects across various sectors
  • Costing for projects, including commercial, residential, retail, leisure, and historic restorations
  • Working closely with Assistant and Trainee Quantity Surveyors to deliver high-quality projects
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of the company's commercial strategy

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, and will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A full UK driving license and own car are preferred, but not essential. The company offers a competitive pension, fast-tracked career progression, and a generous package.
