About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our dynamic team at Beach Baker Property Recruitment. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of projects and collaborating with our Director of Planning to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and run planning projects independently, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with various company projects, leveraging your skills to drive success.
  • For Principal/Associate-level candidates, demonstrate the ability to bring in new work while remaining involved in hands-on project tasks.

Our consultancy handles a diverse range of projects, ensuring a stimulating and varied work environment. Recent projects include:

  • Commercial developments
  • Residential projects
  • Solar and wind farm projects
  • Education sector projects
  • Local authority and neighbourhood planning
  • Manor house replacements and housebuilder schemes
  • Various smaller, fast-paced projects
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Planning degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 3+ years of relevant UK-based experience in the public or private planning sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent project and client management abilities, and proficiency in producing well-written and presented documents.

Desirable:

  • An existing client base or network of contacts.
  • A proven track record of winning new work and willingness to engage in hands-on project management while preparing the company for more team members.
