JSS Finance is partnering with a multi-million pound turnover Technology business in Hertfordshire to recruit an Accounts Supervisor to join their finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join a forward-thinking, rapidly growing business where they can add value and progress their career.
The Accounts Supervisor will play a key role in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, implementing and improving processes and systems, and working across multiple entities and countries.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary of up to £60,000 and flexible, fully remote working.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership to the accounting operations team
- Project set-up, AR, invoicing, and collections
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of client invoices and project expenses
- Support collections analysis to maximize DSO efficiency
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments
- Oversee credit card and expense processes
- Support vendor analysis and drive cost reductions when appropriate
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transactional accounting
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and optimize functionality
- Assist management with important financial decisions
- Provide support for company annual audits
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems and processes during mergers, acquisitions, or system implementations
- At least 3 years' experience working in a similar finance role
- Experience managing offshore and external transactional teams
- Experience using an ERP Accounting system
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote role
- A proactive approach with an entrepreneurial mindset and resiliency to change
- A competitive annual salary of £55,000 - £60,000
