About the Role

Cultivate a culture of excellence and safety in our team by adhering to Health and Safety standards and contributing to the overall success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PPM tasks in accordance with set schedules to maintain engineering standards and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Adhere to engineering standards and HASAWA requirements.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance procedures are followed and maintain accurate records/documentation.
  • Respond promptly to electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
  • Coordinate initial actions associated with client requests.
  • Coordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors for electrical aspects of PPM schedules.
  • Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns/emergencies associated with electrical services.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and repair electrical systems and controls.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
  • 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
  • Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
  • Health and Safety Training.
  • GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification.
  • Experience in electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
