About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Visitor Experience Officer to join our team at Divis & the Black Mountain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality visitor experience that meets the needs of our diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of the operations plan for the site, working closely with the NLHF funded Divis Project team.
  • Oversee the visitor operation, analysing and interpreting audience data and insight to inform decision-making.
  • Champion the audience voice and work with project and regional colleagues to improve the visitor journey and visitor programming.
  • Lead for quality standards in interpretation, presentation, signage, and communication with visitors, both onsite and digitally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow support for Divis & the Black Mountain, including volunteering, local fundraising, and corporate sponsorship.
Requirements
  • Passion for the work of the National Trust and delivering its charitable objectives in urban areas.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to support and influence teams.
  • Experience of managing a budget and developing innovative approaches to income generation.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to build positive relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Understanding of health and safety, compliance, and risk in a similar work environment.
