The Position

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Lead Producer to assume a crucial role in steering the successful launch of "Robocraft 2." This position reports directly to the CEO and involves guiding our enthusiastic team to ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and surpassing quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Develop comprehensive project specifications, timelines, and budgets that can adapt to evolving circumstances. Clearly communicate a vision and set detailed objectives for the team.
  • Team Coordination: Create in-depth production schedules, manage daily stand-ups, set deadlines, and streamline workflows to boost productivity. Serve as the main point of communication, ensuring clarity and swift resolution of challenges.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform extensive risk evaluations, formulate mitigation strategies, and oversee the project to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently forecast and manage resources, including the integration of freelancers and external talent as necessary.
  • Budget Management: Diligently oversee the project budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization and financial responsibility.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior production team members, promoting a positive team culture and enhancing overall development efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success with a minimum of two shipped titles, preferably within the free-to-play model.
  • Extensive experience across all phases of game development from concept through to release, with a strong preference for those who have managed live services post-launch.
  • Proven team management capabilities, with a talent for inspiring diverse teams towards shared objectives.
  • Familiarity with various project management tools; while we utilize Liquid Planner, experience with JIRA, Confluence, G-Suite, and Excel is also valuable.
  • A passionate advocate for player-focused design principles, adept at incorporating player feedback and analytical insights to enhance gaming experiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  • A background in smaller or indie studio settings.
  • Certification in project management.
