Role Overview:
We are seeking an Aquatic Program Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team at BH Live Active, overseeing operations at multiple sites. This position plays a crucial role in managing and executing our learn-to-swim initiatives, positively impacting the lives of our participants by imparting essential swimming skills. Our Academy is dedicated to fostering water confidence, teaching swimming techniques, and developing general aquatic abilities. Each session is crafted to blend education with enjoyment, adhering to the Swim England National Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all swimming instructors are informed of relevant policies and procedures.
- Conduct site-specific orientations for new instructors and assistants.
- Comply with all organizational policies, including standard operating procedures and emergency protocols.
- Address customer inquiries, including feedback and concerns.
- Manage waiting lists and notifications for non-members.
- Supervise private swimming lessons and level water programs.
- Assist in maintaining adequate staffing levels and cover classes as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Possession of a Swim England Level 2 Teacher qualification.
- Prior experience as a Swimming Teacher.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends, bank holidays, and evenings.
