We are working with a highly rated primary school in Leeds to find a graduate with previous experience in education to join their team in September.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and able to engage and support young children who have just started school and nursery. If you are an aspiring teacher looking for a role that will help you gain experience before teacher training, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key Details
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday role

  • Paid between £450 - £550 per week before tax deductions

The Role

As a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for creating and delivering practical educational activities, supporting a busy and happy Reception and Nursery classroom, and taking on additional personal support for some children who may not feel as confident or independent as their peers.

You will lead small group classes to develop a confidence and understanding of phonics, handwriting, and personal development. The class teacher will provide you with all the resources needed to ensure these children are progressing as best they can.
