About the Role:

Castlefield Recruitment is currently working with a well-established Midlands-based housing association to recruit a Treasury Manager on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities during this period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cash flow reviews across group companies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Own the process of security valuations for new funding, providing insightful analysis to senior management.
  • Manage month-end Treasury journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Explore new banking or capital market options to optimize financial performance.
  • Maintain relationships with the legal property team and external valuers to ensure seamless financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in financial operations and analysis.
  • Effective communication with senior stakeholders, with the ability to provide clear and concise financial insights.
  • Experience within social housing is preferred, but not essential.
  • Availability to start immediately is preferred, but not mandatory.
