Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, coach, and enhance the capability of team members, including direct reporting as required

* Take responsibility for the establishment, maintenance, and execution of 1 or more special process domains, including: Process confirmation activities both internally and externally, representing BAE at internal special process forums, collaborating with other special process SMEs both internally and externally to achieve set goals

* Drive the business zero defects and Cost of Non-Quality initiatives

* Ensure that high-quality records are produced as an output of the production processes and inspections

Requirements:

* HND/ equivalent qualification or experience within Engineering/Manufacturing

* Understanding of Software: AQAP 2210, Ticket, Ticket +, CMMI

* Good working knowledge of Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/ First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR)

* Previous experience leading and managing others

* Previous experience in a Supplier Assurance Quality role

About the Team:

* As a member of the Special Processes team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, SQA sections, the projects team, the supply chain, and engineering.

* You will be required to use a company car frequently, with opportunities for overtime and additional training or qualifications such as PCN, NACE, ICORR, and others.

* We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
