This position is ideal for someone with extensive knowledge of insurance claims related to property repairs, who is dedicated to mentoring and guiding others to enhance performance for our clients.

Overview of the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to inspire external suppliers and Aviva employees to achieve sustainable enhancements in property repair claims performance. This will involve leveraging expertise to assess performance and implement actions that elevate service quality, accurate pricing, safety, and overall quality across various property claims (including buildings and contents suppliers). The role requires the application of technical knowledge and relationship management skills to pinpoint opportunities and encourage change.

As a member of our UKGI Claims Supply Chain Team, the successful candidate will be tasked with identifying systemic challenges as well as the developmental needs of individuals (often experts in their respective fields) and applying suitable coaching, training, best practice sharing, and action planning to motivate them towards embedding sustainable improvements in all future claims they handle.

This approach will ensure continuous alignment of performance with Aviva's standards and expectations. Additionally, the role will provide assurance and context to senior management, facilitating more comprehensive changes.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential technical knowledge of property/buildings, with a strong grasp of property claims. A personable approach with outstanding interpersonal and influencing abilities. Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with effective stakeholder management. A genuine desire to enhance customer experiences, with the capability to identify issues and drive improvements. Qualifications such as Cert CII /Dip CII, BDMA, HND/HNC in Building Studies, or accreditation to CII, RICS, CIOB, CILA are desirable.
