About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pastoral Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Education team at Unsted Park School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and education of our students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyse behaviour incidents to inform pastoral support strategies
  • Report incidents through our Engage system and update individual PBS plans, risk assessments, and missing person reports
  • Provide centralised pastoral support and coordinate with staff, parents, and students as needed
  • Record behaviour incidents and plan pastoral training to promote positive behaviour
  • Deliver whole-school pastoral support to individual students when required
Requirements
  • Experience working in an SEN environment, preferably with a psychology degree
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
