Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled educator to lead our History department and drive curriculum development across the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with the school's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the History department and develop a curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and relevant to our students' needs.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student learning and achievement.
- Provide professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge in History and curriculum development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to promote the school's vision and goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a History department and developing curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of History curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
