About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Integration Specialist to join our team at Provide CIC. As a Technical Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our Shared Care Record programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the MSE ICS Shared Care Record solution is supported properly as a secure electronic data sharing platform across our provider organisations and beyond.
- Lead the technical elements and wider system programme team to ensure that technical workstream and programmes are planned and carried out effectively, safely and securely.
- Develop and implement solutions for improving the flexibility and efficiency of systems integration, reducing the complexity of information systems in a cost-effective manner.
- Be responsible for the main technical work with the supplier and with system partners and their IT providers.
- Develop programme documentation including technical standard operating procedures, technical documentation, technical process implementation, and assurance reporting.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent level of experience in a specialist technical area.
- Extensive knowledge of technical specialist areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
- Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development.
- Understanding of the background to and aims of current health and care policy and appreciation of the implications of this on engagement.
- Knowledge and experience of working with a master patient index management system.
- Digital transformation knowledge and experience in an NHS and/or social care context.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of negotiation with senior stakeholders, presenting complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups.
- Experience of working at strategic level, able to recognise direction and implications of policy and the potentially competing priorities/interests.
- Experience of leading, managing, developing, influencing, and inspiring staff.
Desirable
- Strong integration knowledge and experience, including HL7v2, batch files uploads, and on-demand API (IHE profiles, FHIR).
- Knowledge and experience with Orion Health or equivalent information sharing software.
