We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team at Travail Employment Group. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce complex, high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Set and run CNC Millers
- Undertake tool changes, offsets, and program editing
- Produce components to production deadlines
- Work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards (AS9001 & ISO 13485)
You will be working a rotational shift of earlies and lates, with a varied schedule including:
- 6am - 2PM Monday - Thursday
- 12.30 finish on Fridays
- 2pm to 12.30am Mon- Wed
- 2pm - 10.30pm Thurs
- Ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and hold a relevant qualification
- Confident CNC setting and operating experience
- Experience of producing prototypes and first-offs to drawings
- Experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of parts
- Ability to select, set, and change machine tools
Experience with 5 Axis or mill turn machines would be of great interest, as would working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain. Programming experience is preferred but not essential.
