Job Overview

RKM Energy is excited to announce an opening for a Roofing and Solar Installation Specialist to join our expanding team. Our organization focuses on security solutions and renewable energy systems, with plans for nationwide outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess roofing structures to evaluate their compatibility with solar panel installations and perform necessary re-tiling or re-roofing.
  • Carry out the installation of solar panels on both residential and commercial projects, including the mounting and roofing aspects. Note that electrical installations are not part of this role.
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient installation of solar photovoltaic panels and railings, while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to strategize and implement installation tasks.
  • Assist in sourcing materials and coordinating with subcontractors as required.
  • Identify and resolve installation challenges to guarantee project success.

Qualifications: Candidates interested in this position should possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in solar panel installation and roofing.
  • Knowledge of both domestic and commercial roofing systems along with solar mounting frameworks.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Skill in evaluating roofs for the feasibility of solar installations.
  • Willingness to engage in training and remain informed about industry advancements.
  • Dedication to maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • A valid UK driving license with a clean record.
