We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our company's credit control processes to ensure timely payment from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and manage aged debt to minimize overdue balances.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, taking appropriate actions to recover payments.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer queries and disputes.
- Prepare and issue customer reminder letters and emails.
- Provide weekly updates on accounts receivable status to the Financial Controller.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Allocate customer receipts on our ERP system.
- Perform other finance-related administrative duties as required.
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
- Working experience in finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to credit control.
- Professional certification in credit management or accounting.
