About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our progressive school in Richmond, Southwest London. As a passionate educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to their academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting a conducive learning environment.
  • Provide pastoral care to children in their first steps in Key Stage 2, encouraging teamwork and a sense of belonging.
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patient, resilient, and passionate about teaching.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
